These iconic miniature glass slippers found in the Great Hall of the Fairy Castle are decorated with little red bows. They represent the glass slippers from the fairy tale of Cinderella. Moore searched the world for such a pair for years and eventually received these glass slippers from E.H. Rohl, a retired exhibition glass blower.
The Great Hall with floating staircase is a grand room with many treasures. The floor is composed of ivory carved with rose vines which carry up onto the great pillars supporting the ceiling. The ceiling includes domes painted by Helga Brabon of characters from fairytales of both the Grimm brothers and Hans Christian Anderson. The Great Hall includes many hanging wall paintings as well as many rare treasures gathered from around the world.
