In the Great Hall of the Fairy Castle, there is this miniature golden harp. Harps are stringed musical instruments and are considered by historians to be one of the oldest musical instruments in the world dating back to 3000 BCE.
The Great Hall with floating staircase is a grand room with many treasures. The floor is composed of ivory carved with rose vines which carry up onto the great pillars supporting the ceiling. The ceiling includes domes painted by Helga Brabon of characters from fairytales of both the Grimm brothers and Hans Christian Anderson. The Great Hall includes many hanging wall paintings as well as many rare treasures gathered from around the world.
