Object Description: Black painted metal pair of 7x50 Leitz binoculars. The paint has chipped off of both barrels, revealing the silver metal underneath. Barrels are elongated and conical.

These Leitz 7x50 binoculars were used by watch officers and lookouts as the submarine cruised on the surface. This pair was recovered by Lt. Albert David, the officer in command of the USS Pillsbury boarding party.
