This is a model of the British ship named HMS Falmouth. Built in England in 1752, the English East India Company operated this ship in its monopoly trade between Britain and the East Indies. Although Falmouth carried freight such as tea, salt, indigo dye, and opium, it was sailed in the manner of a Royal Navy frigate, or warship.
