Manufactured by the Fitzgerald Manufacturing Company in Torrington, Connecticut, the Star-Rite Toaster presented a new way of turning toast with its “swing” technology. The heat-resistant Bakelite handles on top allow the doors to pivot out and swing around to the other side so that both sides of the bread may be toasted by the central coils. Breakfast would become even more appealing with the stylish Art Deco pattern “branded” onto the bread.
