Object Description: Tan leather envelope style case (a) a silver metal nail file (c) and mirror (b) with green leather boarder. Case is rectangular and orientated horizontally. Top flap is secured by a red metal snap centered near the bottom edge. On the top flap is text and a line drawing of the Hall of Science is embossed in black, a name is embossed in gold. When the 1933 Century of Progress Exposition closed in 1934, over 48,000,000 people had visited the exposition who had purchased souvenirs as a reminder of their trip. This yellow leather nail file and mirror set from the exposition was personalized with the owner’s name Pearl E. Himes, who may have attended the exposition.
