Designed by Henry Van Brun (1832–1903) and Frank M. Howe (1849–1909) of Kansas City, Missouri, this clear glass tumbler depicts the Electrical Building from the 1893 Columbian Exposition. The building was devoted to the newly emerging industry and inventions in electricity and featured exhibits from General Electric, Westinghouse, Western Electric, and many others.
