This Ernst Leitz Wetzlar microscope is a high-quality instrument made by the German company Leitz, founded in 1869, and known for its precise and reliable microscopes used in science and medicine. The name Wetzlar comes from the city in Germany where the company’s headquarters were located. Over time, the microscopes evolved with better lenses and advanced features, making them essential for research. Today, these microscopes are still valued in laboratories for both their historical significance and their exceptional image clarity.
